Comprehensive Tutoring
This 18-hour tutoring package offers a deep dive into all sections of the test. It's a comprehensive look at all Verbal, Math, and Science (for ACT) question types and strategies. Homework will focus on practicing and mastering the strategies, and full-length practice tests help gauge progress and understanding throughout the tutoring. Each lesson is individually tailored to the student's needs. The 18 hours are typically scheduled in 90-minute sessions over a twelve-week period leading up to a test, but that scheduling is flexible. Hours are non-transferable and do not expire. Private Tutoring
This 12-hour Private Tutoring package provides time to either work through big picture strategies for all tests areas or focus on specific areas of the test that need additional work. Each lesson is individually tailored to the student's needs. The 12 hours are typically scheduled in 60-min sessions over twelve weeks leading up to a test, but that scheduling is flexible. Hours are non-transferable and do not expire. Cost: $1360/student
College Admissions Essay Package
By the end of the College Admissions Essay package, students will have completed an authentic Personal Statement (appropriate for the main Common App essay) and any additional writing supplements required for the Common App schools. Students will brainstorm, craft, and edit their writings through in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and doc-sharing through Google Docs. Small Group Tutoring
Owens Test Prep offers small-group tutoring (2 or 3 students) for those interested in tutoring with their peers. This works best when students work with others who are similarly matched in terms of strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Cost: $860/student for 12-hr package
Presentations
